I am 50 years old and I was born in the Lady Chancellor Maternity Home in Salisbury, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) on the 4th  November 1969. As a hobby, I  have been a photographer from the age of 12 starting with 35 mm film. 

 

In 1987 I started work as a Junior Finished Artist for Adveritas (Pvt) Ltd as a past-up artist. 

In 1990 I moved to Michael Hogg Young & Rubicam (affiliated worldwide advertising agency) as it was the biggest agency in Zimbabwe and had a wide range of clients and carried out many different kinds of advertising.

At the end of 1993, I was head-hunted and offered a fantastic role at CM&A. It was with an up and coming, fast-growing advertising agency, CM&A Ogilvy and Mather Advertising. My position was to be in charge of all Photography and also do Graphic Design work. I continued to direct photography and later became the youngest person in Zimbabwe to ever win an art direction award for Best Direction of Photography at the Zimbabwe Advertising Awards in 1996. I later opened a successful  Photography studio called DPI. I did specialized work for all the known agencies in Zimbabwe in photography, photoshop and print at the same time run a company.
